5 Fall Essential Oil Blends to Welcome the Cozy Season

Fall is the time of year where we can all get a little basic if we want. Because, EVERYONE loves fall: fashion, scents, vibes, food etc. Fall really is that good.

We love helping you elevate your vibe and making your life better and bougier in any way we can. One of the simplest ways to channel the atmosphere in your home is to play with fragrance.

We like to do that by diffusing essential oils or non-toxic candles (be careful here, even soy wax ‘natural’ candles don’t have to be 100% soy, so do your research). You could use a room spray, but let’s be honest who the hell wants to get a headache whenever you play with fragrance? No. We want to keep things as natural and chemical free as possible.

In addition, creating your own essential oil blends isn’t just way better for you, it’s way better for the environment, too. There are so many more benefits to using essential oils.

It’s so easy to personalize your fall scent with your own oil blends, letting you create the coziest fragrance you’ve ever dreamed of.

Sounds great, right? Let’s get into it! Here’s a round up of the best fall essential oil blends you’ll love.

6 Warm and Welcoming Fall Essential Oil Blends

If you’ve been around on the blog for a while, you know how to use essential oils. Today, we’re going to be making diffuser blends to use throughout your home. These blends include very minimal amounts of oil; also, a few drops go a long way.

But, if it’s not strong enough for you, or you want one element to be more present than it is, you can simply…do that. Just change the recipe.

That’s the best thing about these blends. They’re totally personal to you.

What Are Essential Oil Blends?

Essential oil blends are mixtures of complementary essential oils that can be used both topically and in diffusers. Today, it’s all about diffuser blends, so you’ll need a good diffuser. Check out the waterless diffusers at Canopy. They’re so chic and Lauryn’s co-brand is still available. Canopy also has these cool felt showerhead tags, which can be used with these blends, too.

5 Best Essential Oil Blends For Fall

Gingerine

This one is inspired by the scents of your grandma’s house in the fall in the best way, obviously. Fresh baked goods, spice, & love.

The scent notes are strong, warm, and spicy with bright and cheery top notes from the tangerine. This scent can be energizing, or it can also partner perfectly with a slow family afternoon.

2 drops Clove

1 drop Ginger

1 drop Tangerine

Chai Tea Latte

It’s not a pumpkin spice latte, but another fall drink we think is quintessential to the season: the chai tea latte. Smelling this feels like warming your hands around a coffee mug after a gorgeous fall walk, or stepping into the warmth of a tea shop.

This fragrance is warm, spicy, & sweet.

1 drop Vanilla

1 drop Nutmeg

1 drop Cinnamon

1 drop Clove

And if you’d rather a pre-made blend, check out this Fireside Chai from Saje.

Meditation Moment

Of course, we don’t just love essential oils for the vibe they create aromatically. They also have tons of benefits.

This blend does something we love. It also helps clear out the bullshit crowding your brain & allows you to see more clearly by providing calming and grounding benefits.

In addition, this blend may be helpful to support respiratory issues, which we know are on the rise as the weather gets cooler.

1 drop Helichrysum

1 drop Lavender

1 drop Frankincense

Again, if you’re a lazy girl like we all are sometimes, try this ready to go blend.

Fall Foliage

Want a deep, woodsy, spicy scent with a little flair? This blend balances the rich smell of cedarwood with the slight spice of black pepper and fruity, tangy sweetness of sweet orange. It’s giving apple picking, hayrack ride, pumpkin patch kind of feelings!

1 drop Black Pepper

1 drop Sweet Orange

2 drop Cedarwood

Black Licorice

When we think black licorice, we think October. It’s gotta be the color, right? But something about the rich sweetness of the flavor screams fall, too.

This blend smells like black licorice in aromatherapy form. Seriously be careful on this one though a little Anise goes further than you think!

2 drop Anise

1 drop Vanilla

These blends are a great way to instantly upgrade your fall vibes.
